In response to winning an unprecedented £22million worth of new business they are currently recruiting an experienced Senior Systems Design Engineer to support activities in Milton Keynes.
The responsibilities include the design and specification of PLC hardware and software, coding of PC systems in Visual Basic and the programming of HMI systems in Visual C++.
Previous experience is required in a similar software development environment and priority will be shown to candidates possessing a formal qualification in a computer studies or electrical / electronics discipline.
We are seeking engineers who are flexible, conscientious and can work on their own but who appreciate and embrace working in teams and actively with clients.
Engineers who can demonstrate proven fault finding, diagnostics and problem solving skills will be of considerable interest and familiarity with automation control and drive systems is essential.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly accredited and ambitious business so engineers must possess a can do attitude and be flexible to travelling to client sites both within UK and Overseas.
Strong communication skills are also required both written and oral to liaise with clients and projects teams.
