Our client is the UK subsidiary of the worlds largest pipe support manufacturer. Their products are used world-wide in the power generation, petrochemical, offshore, and oil and gas industries. As part of their UK expansion plan combined with rapid growth, they are now looking to recruit a Manufacturing Supervisor / Production Manager.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, as the Manufacturing Supervisor / Production Manager you will be responsible for establishing and executing the production schedule, and ensuring the flow of materials within the factory in close collaboration with associated departments.
Additionally, you will be responsible for the development of the manufacturing area including costs and inventory control, and together with the Fabrication Foreman, you will lead the shop floor employees, particularly with respect to improvements in productivity.
To be considered for this position you will be able to demonstrate suitable experience in a production environment. You must also be familiar with MS Office and should have previous experience with MRP systems. The ideal candidate will also be educated to diploma or degree level (or equivalent).
As part of a dynamic team you should also be flexible, self motivated and team orientated.
